If you didn’t go on vacation yet, or even worse, if you are already back š , then there is always Bruxelles Les Bains/Brussel Bad to go catch the summer vibe! Every year during more then 1 month, the canal zone is transformed in a tropical beach resort. This year it goes on until the 9th of August, so if you would like to go, you have only 2 weeks left.
ALOHA. To be honest, Bruxelles Les Bains is only tempting when the sun is shining. We aren’t always so lucky when it comes to the Belgian weather, but if there is a good day, don’t hesitate and just GO.
There are food stands all along the canal and the kitchen is very international, like we are used to in Brussels. From pancakes to chicken Moambe (Congolese) and ‘moules frites’. Don’t forget to bring some cash, because only a few of the food stands accept debit cards. I think the prices are rather high, but not unreasonable considering that the event is free and the fact that they have to pay a lot of money to rent their place on the dockside.
There is a lot of animation for children, like water activities, music, pingpong and so on. Besides eating and drinking cocktails, you can stretch your legs in the Basic Fit boot or play handball at the beach.
The Boat Club offers mini cruises of max 4 hours, animated by dj’s, from Wednesday to Sunday. Buy your tickets in advance because places are limited. Prices go from ā¬6 to ā¬12. I never went to a boat party in Brussels, so if you have, please let me know if it was worth it.
Cheers!

Oh, one more thing. There are several concerts during the day, and in the evening you can watch a movie in the open air cinema, or even an opera on big screen. Check the agenda on the website for more info.
