KOMALIBXL is a cultural blog about Brussels. I write mostly about visual art that I see in museums, in art galleries, at art fairs and exhibitions and in the public space. I’m really not an expert, but I hope that my enthusiasm is contagious. Writing about art is a learning proces for me and I see it as a challenge to broaden my knowledge. Besides the art scene I also write about the broader city culture: shopping, concerts, restaurants and other things that inspire me in Brussels.
Who am I?
I’m 29 years old, was born in Flanders and came to live in Brussels in 2010. I work in the non-profit sector and art is my biggest passion. I love my cat waaaay too much, I’m a vegetarian who’s trying to eat vegan and I hate it when people touch my neck without warning me 🙂 ! For now, blogging is just a hobby because I also work full-time. I prefer not to use my real name, but if you have any questions feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oh, you might be wondering why this blog is called KOMALIBXL. Komali is a nick name I always used online and BXL is quite obvious 😉 .
